A comfort-inspiring 72 millimeter waist combines with a deep sidecut to produce a sublime blend of soft and groomed snow performance. The new Attiva 3motion ski/binding system gives the Luna a soft flex and moves the skier's standing position forward.
Description
For advanced women skiers who want to ski everything the mountain has to offer, the Volkl Attiva Luna shares the shape (117-72-103) of the Unlimited AC20. The women's model features the 20/20 core along with the Women's Power Module. Attiva Motion rails allow the movement of the midboot position forward by 1.5cm.
The
Women's XTP (Extended Tip Profile) represents the actual extending of the sidecut beyond the forward contact point into the tip area. The widest point of the sidecut is located in front of the contact point. All models with XTP have their tip dimensions measured at this location. The direct result is effortless turn in all conditions, combined with complete directional stabilty. Volkl Attiva Women's series skis features a lower, slightly shorter tip profile than their unisex counterparts. The new tip shape provides lighter weight and easier maneuverability.
Double Grip LT
The Volkl Double Grip LT construction was re-designed for '06/'07 models with more pronounced chambers. Developed with the needs of intermediate and advanced skiers in mind, it uses a similar dual-chamber setup to that of Double Grip, but fiberglass layers are arranged above the edges. This places more material where it can support the edges, while allowing a balance between longitudinal and torsional flex.
