Description

Well, the ladies got the shaft again this year as Crispi decided to not make this boot. Sorry for the sad news. There is a chance that the new Prophet boots will work as they are narrower than all the other boots. Please let us know if we can help you with anything or any questions. J.B.

The world anticipated the unveiling of the NTN(New Telemark Norm) for many years. 2007-08 was the year it happen and history was made! Crispi has had great success with the NTN and having the only four buckle boot the first year on the market. The new Crispi Shiver ladies boot is a four buckle lighter weight and softer flexing brother to the original NTN Evo.

The Shiver has a free ride look that any skier in a park or pipe will love but not so crazy that the normal skier won't like. This boot is ultra versatile because of the reduced weight and lower cuff, making it perfect for touring for turns but strong enough to drive many modern day skis. The softer bellows will help any skier get a little deeper in the knee bends if you skiing classic style now.

The Shiver also features a new style of over lap liner with a super soft velvet lining that ensures warmth, comfort and fit. Weather you are the rank beginner or Rannei(Sondre Norheim's wife) himself you will find what you are looking for in the Shiver boots!

From personal experience I have found that these boots do need a few days to break-in so give it time and they will ski like a dream! I(Jarl) have spent a whole season now on NTN and am super happy with it. Strangely though I still love my duckbills too but I really can feel the difference between the two and the benefits of both.

NEW! From the Berg's Staff. With Extensive and intensive testing in the North West we challenge ourselves to think outside of the box, and this is what we came up with. All NTN boots meet Alpine Touring/Randonnee DIN standard dimensions so why couldn't you use them in all standard Alpine Touring bindings- our resounding answer is YES YOU CAN! Not only do you get the benefits of a lighter boot, better stride, and overall less fatigue from all NTN boots we tested, you also get a resort Alpine or Tele setup at the same time. We will be the first to admit that the Alpine stance is a little different with NTN boots, but this doesn't mean you can't ski aggressive and still enjoy all the backcountry; or just walking benefits of a flexible bellow.
