Black Diamond's Guide Gloves-These are some of the warmest gloves around. Built tough (to stand up to day-in, day-out abuse) GUIDE GLOVES feature the best materials money can buy - goatskin palms, Schoeller 4-way stretch fabric, heat and abrasion resistant Kevlar thread and a Gore-tex liner - to keep you totally dry. Liner is removable and insulated with Primaloft to keep your digits working when the mercury plummets. Nice features include one-handed drawcords, soft nose wipes on each thumb and elastic gathering on back of hand. GUIDE GLOVES have the balance of warmth and dexterity for technical alpine climbs from Patagonia to Alaska, the Himal and everything in between.

A few of us here at the shop uses these most days at our local mountains as well as on BC trips and they have been great. Any leather glove can get wet...just a fact of life, but it's great how easy they come apart so it's easy to get them dry again. They are even nice for the spring when you don't need the liner as you can just tour in the shell and toss in the liner on the way back down the hill if you need to. Just one really nice glove!
