The Silvretta Pure is the most sought after ski mountaineering binding this winter. It is light weight, step-in/step-out, and releasable to TUV standards. With the pivot point 30 mm behind boot toe, striding is easy; saving energy and allowing for easier kick-turns. Carbon fiber, titanal, and UV stabilized plastics keep the weight under 1200 grams, weighing 30% less than the competition.
