Tech:
Plusfit TT High inner Boot:
Slightly higher, thermo-moldable, custom fit to the foot. It offers support and precision while skiing downhill. Velcro part of the back where the spoiler height is adjustable, offering better stability.
Forward Lean:
Further personalized from the Ski/Walk mechanism, the forward lean mechanism is a hexagonal screw that allows for a +/- 2 variation in degrees. The graphic reference creates upper-cuff alighnment.
Ski/Walk Mechanixm:
Allows for a fast change from uphill to downhill mode and can even be set while moving. Also allows for choice of two incline positions(19 and 23 degrees)
Easy Lock Buckle:
The Tornado Pro has an easy lock buckle on the cuff and one situated on the instep. Micro-adjust buckle is extremely functional and allows the ideal closure position to be selected. Thanks to the play in the hub of the lever, it's fast and easy to lock the lever.
Ski + Walk Tongue:
The Tornado is available with two tongues, intercahngeable with an easy operation. The flexible, and comfortable Walk Tongue is suitable for uphill and aslo for ski-touring. The stiff Ski Tongue offers a perfect hold for on-piste and free-riding skiing.
Inside/Outside Strap:
The two straps on the forefoot have an important protective role and above all, distribute pressure of the buckles over a wide surface. This means more security for the foot and precision for downhill performance.
HRS - Heel Retention System:
The Heel Retention System is positioned in the most important and delicate part of the boot for a ski, the instep. Thanks to it's special design and shape, it holds the foot in the shell comfortably with strength and precision, guaranteering perfect heel control for outstanding performance.
Dual Injection Technology:
The "Dual Injection" technology of differing thicknesses of plastic allows the boot to become more rigid only where it's needed, but at the same time keeping the weight of the shell low. In skiing, this is a winning combination because an excellent power to weight ratio is guaranteed.
