The most revolutionary powder twin tip to hit the backcountry. The System S7 Pro Mancini you have to see it to believe it! Sage Cattabriga-Alosa and Rossignol have designed the ultimate backcountry slash ski. Using twin tip construction combined with a new tricked-out reverse camber, reverse sidecut shape and incorporating sidecut underfoot for navigating on the cat tracks, the perfect powder tool has been created. The Rossignol System S7 is for backcountry animals whose definition of freshie involves double-digit inches.
Amazing though is how user friendly this ski really is...you don't have to be Max Mancini or Sage to enjoy everything this ski offers as it's super fun to get out on and in more than just deep powder days. It could drop a couple inches and this ski is a total beast(in a good way ;-) ) and very playful. The early-rise tip is great for deep snow but works great on those morning runs at the lifts as well where only a little fresh dropped the night before with groomers under it. I was also amazed how well they could actually ski the bumps and even a little park fun as well. Don't get me wrong though...when the time comes you can pull out your inner powder-technician.

More about Max and his skis: Max Mancini and Rossignol Team up to Help the Children's Hospital in Denver.
Only one year after being involved in a devastating accident, Max has taken a new view on life. During the past year he has helped develop the first ever Rossignol freeheel Pro Model ski. The ski is based on the Rossignol S7, and Max and best friend/artist Dustin Handley created the concept for the graphics.
What stands out about this ski is that all of the royalties from the Pro Model will be donated to the Children's Hospital in Denver, CO. Futhermore, Rossignol will match Max?s donation, making 20% of every pair sold a donation to The Children' Hospital. It has always been a goal of mine to have a pro model ski, but this one is particularly exciting because it is going to be benefiting such a great cause, says Max.
The System S7 Pro Mancini features Rossignol's Amptek technology. Amptek features a combination of traditional camber under foot and more progressive rocker at the tip and tail. The combination of the two makes the S7 float better in deep snow and hold on hard snow.
