zWeld
The top layer of fabric is folded under and sandwiched between two layer of adhesive, bonding it to the bottom layer. This eliminates the need for sewing, which creates leak points, and seam sealing or taping, which increases weight. The result is a fully waterproof garment, reduced weight and materials, and increased breathability. zWeld seams can stretch with the fabric and are as strong as sewn seams.
