A widetrak desing born in the back-country(previosly known as the Ursa but so much better!!!), the Solstice XT shares the dimensions of the stable, Easy-to-ski Solstice, but with a partial metal edge for extra security on firmer snow so when the need comes to make a turn you are able but having the edge only in the middle makes it glide just as smooth as a non-metal edge ski. The new wood core cap construction gives the Solstice XT the same light slim profile and great balance of grip and glide of the new Widetrak Series with Omnitrak® bases. It even skates fairly well even though it has a positive base in the kick-zone. Wide enough to be paired with a light BC boot but light enough to use a basic touring boot as well.
