Karhu redesigned the XCD 10th Mountain to make it ligher, Quicker and friendlier for turns, and give it greater range to complement the no-hassle touring ability of the Omnitrak® NoWax® base. With a deeper, progressive XCD Sidecut and full metal edges, the 10th Mountain tuns quickly, adding low-angle glades and bowls to it's excellent performance on rolling terrain and backcountry trails. The Mountain is best paired with the XCD Traverse boot, Garmont Excursion or Scarpa T3(if you can find one). I have been on these for two years now and I love em'! Super fun to turn yet easy to kick and glide with as well. I even put my NTN's on the just for fun and they worked pretty well actually even if it was a little overkill.
