Let the fat flakes fall. From dark storm mornings to hunting stashes a week later, the Storm is a powerful all-mountain ski with a penchant for laying first tracks. Titanal® 3 Construction is the third evolution of our metal chassis combined with a durable, strong maple/aspen Macroblock Core that is 3D-milled to exaggerate the forked tip and pintail shape of the new metal. The result is the direct transfer of every ounce of energy into precise turn initiation and a smooth, strong finish. Its new tip and tail shapes are designed for either side of the boundary ropes, and the multiple-radii Progressive Sidecut makes the Storm the ultimate blend of quickness and versatility with width and stability.

Karhu Tech: Titanal® 3 Construction: The third iteration of Karhu metal power blends die-cut Titanal® with a 3D-Milled Macroblock Core to further enhance the ski's torsional rigidity, transferring energy directly to the edges. Just as we've removed excess material from the Titanal® in the tip of the ski, the 3D topography gives us greater control over the properties of the wood core. Swingweight is reduced and the thicker platform underfoot delivers reduced, and the thicker platform underfoot delivers unparalleled edgehold. The pintail shape of Titanal® 3 allows a smoother turn finish, instead of hooking up or locking the ski into a set radius. Carbon 3 Backcountry Construction : To trim every unnecessary ounce from our BC skis; we rely on our Carbon 3 Construction, with a pre-tensioned carbon laminate that proviedes the power characteristics of Titanal® 3 at a fraction of the weight . The V-Shaved tip and tapered tail further reduces swingweight, and together with the 3D-Milled greenlight™ Core they provide excellent torsional rigidity and edgehold. Macroblock Core : Built for Maximum durability and downhill performance, our Macroblock core uses wide blocks of maple and aspen laminated side-by-side balancing weight savings with ulitimate power for those who put the emphasis on the decent.
