With K2's rhythm core designed to move with you, hyper progressive sidecut and carbon torsion forks, we are confident the Mix is Gretchen's ultimate pipe destroyer and will be taking a trip to the biggest and best podium it has seen yet.
Since women are generally lighter and rely more on finesse than power, our women's boards have a narrower waist width, softer flex, more sidecut, slightly less camber and a custom women's specific core. These features are all mentioned in one sentence because they are interrelated and changing one affects all the others. The K2 formula has created the ultimate platform for female riders to take advantage of their skills on the snow with style, confidence and control.

Features:

• Hybritech construction: Hybritech is the most effective way to make a snowboard. It takes a cap tip and tail and blends it into a sidewall along the running surface. We take the time to create complex molds and parts that bring these two features together. It gives you low swing weight and optimized turn initiation at the ends combined with durability and damping on the running surface. This design produces high-performance boards that excel across any variety of mountain terrain, snow conditions and riding styles.
• Hyper progressive sidecut: Our most aggressive, yet versatile sidecut. A very gentle radius in the tip and tail are blended to a tight radius in the center of the board. Whether you want to relax and bomb with confidence or carve circles around your buddy, this sidecut puts you in control of your turns.
• Rhthym core: We have dedicated a new technology solely to our women's specific boards. Tested and approved by our female pros and Women's Alliance team, K2 has designed a women's specific core that is softer flexing and lighter in the tip and tail, intended to work better with a woman's body. Two distinct wood species are used in precise areas within the core to ensure easy turn initiation and lightweight characteristics combined with control, predictability and stability.
• 4000 Sintered base: With a high molecular weight, the 4000 Sintered base is the fastest natural base material available. Fast, durable with long wax retention keeps the board performance more consistent over time.
• Standard steel edges: Proven durability with one piece of steel wrapped around the entire perimeter of the board.
• Triax bottom/Precured top carbon and kevlar inlay: Carbon and Kevlar are used to enhance the response and reduce the overall weight. Carbon gives lightweight response and energy while Kevlar adds toughness and smooth recoil.
• Carbon torsion forks: K2's traditional torsion fork. It provides a direct path from the rider to the contact points for fast turn initiation, added edge control and more pop for higher ollies.
