The Garmont Excursion is the only plastic backcountry ski touring boot available right now so it's time to step up to the plate...
Description
The Garmont Excursion is the nicest backcountry ski touring boot available: warm and lightweight with the control necessary for backcountry turns which is where this day and age are bringing us. It was specifically designed for touring compatibility with today's new generation of lightweight, edged backcountry/rugged touring skis(Madshus Guide or Rossignol 125 to name a few) but don't be afraid to throw them on your big boards on one of those days of a foot of fresh as they are stronger than you would expect and make the tour much easier. Excursions are warm, waterproof, and durable with a removable liner for easy drying or to keep your toes warm at night. They are extremely tourable: very light, with an easy "touring" flex using Garmont's multi-injection process in a soft-flexing pebax shell. Don't be afraid to pull a few turns in these though as they will hold up to some of the steepest terrain out there and you can actually have fun not only going up the hill but down it as well. Grins all the way around...now lets go another round!!! No question a favorite here in the Northwest Cascades where we have to ski in before we can ski up anything... Features: - Best Use is Backcountry Touring, Light Telemark/Freeheel skiing

- Liner: Pad-Lock
- Closure: 2 Buckles + Power Strap
- System: 75mm
- Height:27.5 cm
- Weight: 1400 grams (3.02 pounds in size: 27.5)
