The Outbound is upgraded with new Mountain Edge Tech. The mid-section of the ski uses an air-craft grade ceramic glass fiber edge. This results in a lighter weight ski, and also allows more pattern on the base for improved grip.

- CROWN TECH - Fischer "cuts" (instead of presses) the Crown pattern into the durable sintered base to provide long lasting grip and consistent glide over the life of the ski.

AIR CHANNEL - Fischer laminates up to 14 layers of poplar and ash together, and then mills out strategic air channels in the wood core. This incredibly durable design decreases weight, optimizes kick and increases glide.

ULTRA TUNING - Prior to the race finish process, a very thin base layer is removed. Ultra Tuning ensures that the base is absolutely smooth and flat, and that new P-tex is exposed for better wax protection.
