DC Phase Snowboard Boots - Women's '07-'08

For the Phase we got inspiration from classic DC skate shoe aesthetics and applied some innovative DC snowboard boot technologies- it's a great snowboard boot with skate shoe aesthetics that's ready for the mountains. The Phase was built with durable synthetic leather, and used water-resisitant mesh panels to reduce the boot's overall weight. The tongue and calf areas have padded neoprene to provide comfortable movement, while a non-slip footbed inside the Phase helps secure the foot in place. We designed the Phase to have a thin outsole, thus allowing for maximum board and terrain feel. The outsole is made of abrasion-resistant sticky rubber, and the multi-tone bottom has DC's trademarked "pill" pattern. The Phase's functional sole design grants great traction and grip in the snow.

Thought you saw DC's Manteca shoe on the slopes last year? You did -we turned the Manteca into the PHASE so we could take it to the mountains. We built the upper out of synthetic leather, and used water-resistant mesh panels to reduce the Phase's overall weight. The cup sole, which is about 10% lighter than a typical outsole, is made of abrasion resistant sticky-rubber, and the multi-tone bottom has DC's trademarked "pill" pattern. The Phase's functional sole design grants great traction and grip in the snow.

Fit Tip: All Boots seem to stretch out about 1/2 size. It is normal to have a smaller Boot size than your shoe size to compensate for the boots stretching and getting "BIGGER" from how they feel in the store.
-Make sure to work with a boot tech person to fit the boot to the "SHAPE" of your foot. Fit Shape is vital to the performance of any brand of boot. Be sure to walk around in the boots(10-15min) fully laced to help make sure they are the correct shape for your foot.
-For improved fit and comfort consider adding a CUSTOM FOOTBED like "Superfeet" that is properly matched to your arch shape. This will help the boot anatomically support your foot which will reduce pressure points and securely hold your foot in place.
-Spend some time choosing your boots they are the most important piece of gear you'll buy.
