A powerful powder ski built for skiers the likes of Doug Coombs. An accomplished adventure skier, whether dropping into first descents via helicopter or skinning summits, needs a ski stable enough to hold an edge at high speeds yet light enough for touring. New for 2011-2012 season, the Coomback has a Carbon Web integrated into the ski which creates more responsiveness without add weight to the ski. K2 retained the All-Terrain Rocker, powder tip, progressive sidecut and buoyant 102 waist that gave the Coomback superior predictability in erratic conditions, yet equally versatile balancing the lightweight attributes of a backside ski with comfort and performance characterized by many frontside skis. You can put alpine, tele, touring bindings on the Coomback. In honor of Doug, A percentage of all COOMBACK ski sales will be donated to the Coombs family.
