- For its down jackets, Mammut uses "downproofed fabrics", i.e. specially produced materials together with the highest quality and finest down. However, it is still possible that very small feathers or down may protrude through the material. Protruding down can be pulled back into the filling from the opposite side. The small holes between the threads will close again as a result of the repositioning of the threads. This process can be accelerated by massaging and rubbing the material at the affected area by hand.
