The Black Diamond 01 Telemark binding provides you with insane power transmission for ripping big lines. The O1 is the Freeride of free heel bindings. In tour mode, a pivot point just behind the pin line preserves leg strength and in ski mode the underfoot cable routing and a pair of compression-spring cartridges deliver unmatched power and a predictable, progressive flex for precision downhill performance. With a push of a ski pole tip to the toggle switch the binding coverts to free touring mode that has an optimal pivot point under the pin line so you can slay the big lines with energy and power left in your legs. As they say at BD...it's all about the down!!! The great thing is they even thought about the up as well.
