Description

Mountain Hardwear's expedition weight base layer is designed to take the rigors of alpine climbing and high altitude mountaineering. Polartec® Power Stretch® provides exceptional moisture management and reverses for longevity in the field. A high collar and deep zip provide ventilation options.

Tech Specs:
  • Polartec® Power Stretch®: Power Stretch fabric has four-way stretch and a bi-component construction. The inside is brushed to draw moisture away from the skin, while the smooth, flat-knit outer surface is durable and slides easily under an outer layer.
      • It's reversible: wear it smooth side out for maximum warmth and wicking capability; wear it smooth side in as an outer layer.
      • Use Power Stretch Fleece beneath heavier insulation and/ or a shell for mountaineering, skiing, and cold weather backcountry travel.
      • Or use it as a light, comfortable outer layer for climbing, mountain biking, and backpacking in less extreme conditions.
