DescriptionThe Prophet uses the new Power Wrap overlap construction. Like the Voodoo, it closely and comfortably follows the foot's anatomy with a "pre-punched" shell shape that closes securely around the foot and allows the ankle and bellows to flex freely. The high overlap stays in close contact with the lower leg for the quickest response and leverage with no tongue-gap and subsequent lag time.
The Prophet is the only NTN boot with replaceable "second heel", the under-foot interface with the new NTN binding. It boasts garmonts new Ergo Bellow design for the smoothest, most ergonomic forward flex. The Prophet is offered with the Rapid Thermo-moldable liner, tuned specifically for the new line of telemark boots. The first time I(Jarl) spied these boots it was like seeing the Mona Lisa for the first time. They really are a work of art and design as well as being a boot fitters dream come true. The best part is they ski as good as they look. Pure driving power coming from the top of the boot but have a nice supple flex that's easy to compress but can't be twisted so it's always driving power straight to the skis. Pure bliss!!! :-) NEW! All NTN boots meet Alpine Touring/Randonnee standard dimensions so why couldn't you use them in all standard Alpine Touring bindings- our resounding answer is NO PROBLEMO! Not only do you get the benefits of a lighter boot, better stride, and overall less fatigue from all NTN boots we tested, you also get a resort Alpine or Tele setup at the same time. We will be the first to admit that the Alpine stance is a little different with NTN boots, but this doesn't mean you can't ski aggressive and still enjoy all the backcountry; or just walking benefits of a flexible bellow.
