The most-efficient and safest binding for Telemarking and Backcountry touring......The 7tm Power Tour Releasable Ski Bindings.
Description
With the
7tm Power Tour binding, skiers can tour efficiently without needing to force the boot to flex. In the uphill mode, the pivot point of the binding is at the tip of your boot - similar to an Alpine Touring binding. This means less resistance and more energy savings. Before you start to ski down, simply lock the binding's trouing mechanism with it's small lever.
Power Tour can be made neutral or active by removing/adding the power bar.
The Power Bar - For Skiing in the All Moutain position with it's neutral performance, replace the Power Bar of the second pivot point without any tool. Only release the toe cup, press out the bar - and go. Remount it in the same way to get back into the power position.
The 7tm Tour features the same modern release design as the original 7tm. Coupled with the 7tm All Mountain, the 7tms are the only DIN-certified Telemark bindings on the world market as approved by ISO Standard 9462.

According to off-Piste, "The 7tm is known for its revolutionary new release function as well as a reputation for being a powerful, robust, telemark binding in its truest, simplest form. The 7tm releases during extreme load situations saving equipment, money, and often the skiers health. The release functions through the toe piece, which stays with the boot upon release, even when the binding is flexed to an angle of 90 degrees. To get back in, the skier simply steps back in and goes. TUV approved according to DIN and ISO standards. The 7tm combines the neutral flex of a traditional three-pin binding with the pre-tension of a cable binding for optimal downhill control. Freeheelers can now enjoy the best of both worlds."
